About the Role
Looking to get kitchen experience at a small, picturesque inn? Watkins Tavern is looking to hire 2 kitchen staff part-time positions. With the golf course closing annually in the late fall, this will be a mostly-seasonal position with the ability to be rehired the following spring.
You will be responsible for food preparation, tapas-style food service, dishwashing, and light kitchen cleaning.
We value precision and speed in food service, a dedication to cleanliness in the kitchen, and a desire to improve cooking skills and techniques.
We are a small, tight-knit team that iterates on processes and ideas. Be open to a menu that changes frequently with the seasonality of produce and the learning associated with new dishes.
Schedule: 15-17 hrs/wk 10:30am-4:00pm, 4:00pm-9:30pm, 3:30pm-9:30pm
Kitchen experience not necessary, but valued
Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States
Employment is contingent upon passing a mandatory background check
About the Company
Watkins Inn & Tavern is a historic Inn located on Hooper Golf Course in Walpole. Both the tavern and the golf course have had a very important history in the town, as the golf course reaches nearly 100 years old. The Tavern was built in 1788 but has reopened after renovations in 2021.
